Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide general support to all committees in the institute, including: committee establishment, committee meeting arrangements, memo releasement etc. Act as a liaison between committees and faculty/staff effectively.
2. Provide secretarial services for the Dean's and the Executive Dean’s work, including: schedule and travel arrangements, signatures, reimbursements, organization and follow-up of important meetings, preparation of relevant materials and documents.
3. Provide care and support to academic staff, including: visa application, housing, air tickets, reception, daily necessities, bank card processing, residence permits, reimbursements, fee management and tracking, assistance of recruitment and training.
4. Assist to supervise quality assurance processes, conduct program reviews, and prepare the institute's annual quality report.
5. Assist to develop and manage the institute’s budget and space allocation administration.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A master’s degree or higher.
2. At least 10 years of extensive administrative or relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role within the higher education sector.
3. Exceptional management, organizational, and communication skills.
4. Strong service-oriented spirit and mindset.
5. Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrating strong initiative, resilience, and a proactive mindset.
6. High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong familiarity with essential office software tools.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of Shenzhen Loop Area Institute, and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable to the PRC. The appointee will be based in Shenzhen, PRC.
