In this project, we aim to establish a virtual biology lab platform covering from Introduction to Biology to Advanced Biotechnology for medicine/life science undergraduate programs about 150 students every year. This platform would provide practical advice and detailed instructions for implementing open-ended experiments, cooperative learning, and exercises that enhance learning skills in large or small biology laboratory courses. This allows online students to access teaching labs on any laptops without the need for additional hardware or lab equipment and spark creativity in students with this innovative and interactive way to explore medicine/life science. In addition, it would help instructors promote active learning in the biology classroom.
