Intellectuals in the Spring Hills 

had Mr. Tseng Weilun with us.

We encountered Danzo, 

as well as 

its birth and development.

Mr. Tseng Weilun,

the one who immerses himself in thoughts,

who explores himself and 

follows his heart.

Choosing between 

drawing pictures to orders 

or being  a real designer,

depends on a blink of his mind. 

“To have my own design”, 

this is his answer.

He attended the top design school in the

Netherlands learning about

how to design, 

how to solve problems, 

how to integrate and make 

better use of the resources.

He realized that being a designer is 

not just about

wearing a white T-shirt and 

drawing pictures 

in an air-conditioned room.

Every piece of his work,

from design to production, 

from the studio to the factories, 

and when revealed to the public, 

it actually reflects life,

his perspectives of the world, and the way 

he feels about the world as well.

“Chun Shan Ya Ju” or “Meeting Intellectuals in the Spring Hills”, is one of the University's lecture series where the University will invite social elites in such fields as culture and arts to share with our students in form of salon or lecture to promote a discussion of thought-provoking issues or soul-searching experiences. During the lectures, everyone will have a chance to listen and respond on their world views, their aspirations, and intellectual taste in life.
