Executive Officer (Activities and Student Development) - Eighth College (Ref. 2025/131/01)
Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for comprehensive planning and implementation of large-scale college activities. Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly activity plans;
2. Responsible for the end-to-end event management including supervising design concept, supplier liaison, pre and post-marketing, venue fit-out, guest experience;
3. Oversee the College’s social media, website and publications to enhance reputation and profile among current students, the wider University community and external stakeholders;
4. Responsible for developing college culture programs, including artistic events and social learning programs;
5. Supervise College student associations and clubs.
6. Undertake any other duties assigned by the supervisor; working during non-office hours will be needed to ensure the smooth implementation of various college activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Hold a bachelor’s degree or above;
2. At least three years of working experience in event planning, public relations or project management would be advantageous;
3. Excellent writing and communication skills in both Chinese and English;
4. Excellent abilities in planning, organizing, communicating, coordinating and executing;
5. Ability to work independently, initiatively and resourcefully to take full responsibility for completing tasks;
6. Passionate about the mission of education with a strong sense of responsibility and team spirit;
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
