【Lecturer】

Shii, Independent Music Producer. Nowadays, while the sound of technology draws more attention, she brings flavors and warmth to traditional electronic music with her unique female perspective and ear-catching voice. She also tries to combine live music, dance, acting, and other visual arts together. She is creating a new generation of music experience by fusing IDM, Glitch and Dream Pop in flowing rhythms.

Shii signed a distribution agreement with the independent music label, Merrie Records, and published her first personal album Floating Signifiers (浮动能指) in July 2019. She issued her EP Continuous (绵延) in November 2019. In 2020, Shii issued the single Scenery (风景) and Maman in the collections published by Netease Cloud Music and Merrie Records. She also participated in “Distant Dialogue”, a China-UK musician communication project held by British Council, and composed the song Seeing Flowers. Her latest single Night Dive (夜潜) was issued in 2021 and the remixed single Lifetime (Shii's Security Blanket Remix) featured Romy the female vocal of The xx. Shii was invited to perform at Strawberry Music Festival, Simple Life, Zhihu New Knowledge Youth Talk (知乎新知青年说), Geek Park Innovation Conference Opening Ceremony, The Big Landing, and Fête de la Musique.
