First Gift for Your Alma Mater
- 2019 Graduates Gift Campaign
As we mark the 5th anniversary of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, CUHK-Shenzhen, the Alumni Affairs Office and the University Foundation launch the First Gift for Your Alma Mater - 2019 Graduates Gift Campaign. It is an opportunity for the graduating class to commemorate their graduation by giving back to their alma mater. The campaign provides chances to young alumni to participate directly in building up CUHK-Shenzhen a first-class research university acknowledged regionally, nationally and internationally.
The University Foundation offers three projects for participation of young alumni, University General Development Fund大学整体发展项目, Academic and Research Excellence Project 教学与科研项目, and Student Development Project学生发展项目. Alumni may choose to support any of the three projects, and your donation will be spent upon your will.
University General Development Fund大学整体发展项目 The University's overall development fund will help the University to respond quickly to current development needs with maximum flexibility, including funding infrastructure, student support and activities, research and teaching programs and campus development. Donation to the University's General Development Fund will support the University's long-term development.
Academic and Research Excellence Project教学与科研目CUHK-Shenzhen has a group of world-class faculty members including academicians and Nobel laureates. They bring not only a strong scientific research strength and advanced educational philosophy, but also forge a university full of vitality, freedom and diversity. With a number of national key laboratories and research projects, CUHK-Shenzhen is committed to be a first-class research university. Your donation will help the University to recruit more world-class talents and researchers.
Student Development Project 学生发展项目The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen inherits the educational philosophy of combining tradition and modernity, integrating China and the West, and striving to cultivate talents with both Chinese cultural tradition and international vision. While developing high-quality education for contemporary China, we are more concerned with promoting the fairness and diversity in education. We wish to provide equal opportunities to outstanding students from low-income families, so that they could enjoy the same colorful life as you do.

In recognition of your support to this campaign, souvenirs with unique features of CUHK-Shenzhen will be given to the graduates who donate (Limited offer while stocks last). Please check Attachment 2 for the List of Souvenirs
