The School of Humanities and Social Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, is pleased to announce the holding of an international conference on translation education in a new age. This Conference will serve as a platform for local and overseas translation scholars and experts to discuss contemporary issues relating to translation education in the areas of translation studies, practical translation, interpreting, and translation technology.

Themes to be explored by participants may include but are not restricted to the following:

(1)   the teaching of translation studies and research on new methodology in translation

(2)   pedagogical issues relating to practical translation

(3)   new developments in teaching interpreting

(4)   the teaching of translation technology and the use of technology in the industry
