On April 24, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen inked a framework agreement for strategic collaboration with the Shenzhen Nanshan District People's Hospital. The two parties will work together to create clinical specialty and discipline designs, establish an international clinical teaching base, and engage in win-win strategic cooperation across a range of fields, including cutting-edge scientific research, high-level academic and talent exchanges and so on.

The agreement aims to foster a long-term cooperation dedicated to innovative education and teaching. The Nanshan District People's Hospital will function as a teaching hospital, collaborating with the University to develop new models of clinical teaching and platforms for medical education and research cooperation. It is also the goal of both parties to establish a medical education demonstration site with world standards in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Additionally, efforts will be made to strengthen clinically advantageous disciplines, to improve the quality of MDT joint diagnosis and treatment, and build up medical platforms for science and technology innovation.
