The NSFC has initiated proposals collection for Major Program of Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences 2022. Details of requirements are as follows:

1、Eligibility of applicants

Applicant and co-applicant shall meet the following qualifications:

(1)Shall have senior academic title;

(2)Shall only submit (including as participant) one application;

(3) PI who is undertaking NSFC major program or other major research projects of national level shall not be the applicant;

(4)The total number of applicant and co-applicants shall not exceed 5 for one proposal.

2、Funding amount and duration

The duration is five years with the maximum funding intensity 20 million yuan per project(direct cost).

3、Procedure of application

(1) Applicant shall fill out application form (Annex 2) in Chinese and send the word version to kevingao@cuhk.edu.cn by 17:00 on Oct. 8, 2021.

(2) Applicant shall print (double-sided) a  hard copy of application form ( final version) which signed by all applicants and submit it to Room W406 of Administration Building by noon on Oct. 12, 2021.
