Outstanding Young Talents Program (Overseas)
The Outstanding Youth Science Foundation (Overseas) project aims to attract and encourage overseas outstanding young scholars (including non-Chinese expatriates) who have made good achievements in natural science, engineering and technology to work in China.
Position Specifications
Applicants should
(1) abide by laws of the People’s Republic of China and have good ethics in science;
(2) have obtained a doctorate degree;
(3) was born after September 1st, 1980 ;
(4) research directions are mainly natural sciences, engineering technology, etc.;
(5) before April 30, 2021, having no less than three years continuously research or teaching experience outside China in a prestigious university or R&D institute (Exceptions will be given to applicants who have obtained the doctor degree overseas with extraordinary research achievement);
(6) haven’t return China yet or came back after September 1st, 2019 and willing to work full time for three years in China with no other jobs overseas;

The application will be carried online (system). The system (bilingual) will be available after February 22, 2021. Please get prepared with the application form of 2019 and the checklist for supporting materials (see attachment). These materials are for reference only since the new system is not available yet.
Copy of Contract or Letter of Intent with CUHKSZ is required to upload to the system after March 22, 2021.
