On 25th January, 2018, The Chinese University of Hongkong, Shenzhen held 2017 CUHK–Shenzhen Annual Awards Presentation Ceremony, President of the University, Professor Xu Yangsheng, together with administration staff of the University attended the ceremony. The ceremony gives commendation to students who have shown outstanding performance in academics, leadership, and campus culture. For the first time, the University established the Presidential Exemplary Teaching Award to recognize the exemplary performance of outstanding teachers in teaching and to affirm the University's commitment to providing high-quality education to our students.

Government scholarship awards contain National Scholarship, National Endeavor Scholarship, and Shenzhen Universiade Intertional Scholarship for international students. Besides, CUHK-Shenzhen has set up Student Outstanding Performance and Leadership Award, Excellent Service Award, University Ambassador Award, Campus Development Award, and Excellent Student Award to reward students who have shown excellence in students’ activities, constructing campus culture, innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as publicity and development of the University. The awards aims to inspire them to develop into individualized and diversified aspects.
